SPMSA is looking for umpires!
Did you know?
-SPMSA will cover the cost of equipment and training
-SPMSA has an excellent mentorship program. New umpires are paired with a more experienced umpire and start by umping younger levels
-Umpiring helps build communication skills, confidence, teamwork and other important life skills
-Umpires are a tight knit community and you will have the opportunity to make life long friendships
-There is opportunity for both weeknight and/or weekend work, this lets you work around school and other job commitments
-Umpires may be eligible to apply for post secondary scholarships
-Previous ball experience is an asset but not a requirement
